Vancouver PCG Holds Flag Raising Ceremony in Commemoration of the 124th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence

16 June 2022 - The officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver held its annual flag raising ceremony at Canada Place in commemoration of the 124^th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence.

Highlighting the theme, “Kalayaan 2022: Pagsuong sa Hamon ng Panibagong Bukas (Rise Towards the Challenge of a New Beginning),” officers of the Consulate and attached agencies read aloud the messages of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and that of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Honorable Teodoro Locsin, Jr.

A simple salu-salo of Filipino breakfast then capped the event. END
