Vancouver PCG Attends the Business Forum and Dinner Session Organized by the Asia Commercial Association of Canada

Vancouver BC, 10 March 2025 – Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin attended the event organized by the Asia Commercial Association of Canada highlighting its first ever Business Forum and International Women’s Day Celebration which was held at Pink Pearl Restaurant, Vancouver, BC on 07 March 2025.

During the evening session, Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin delivered her remarks and introduced the “Make it Happen in the Philippines,” the international investment promotion brand and campaign to attract investment to the Philippines by highlighting its potential as an ideal business destination in Asia reinforcing the country's highly skilled and resilient human resource and "make-it-work" mindset and underlining its strength and adaptability even in times of adversity.

Earlier during the event, the Economic Section of the Consulate also presented a video which highlighted the emerging trade and investment opportunities in the Philippines during the Business Forum.

The event witnessed remarks from the Members of Parliament (MPs), followed by speeches from the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), and conclude with insightful remarks from the ASEAN Consuls General who shared their perspectives on fostering trade and investment relationships and enhancing community engagement. Likewise, the event observed the International Women’s Day by honoring women of the ACAC.

The event was a pragmatic opportunity for ACAC members, business partners and professionals of the Asian business community in British Columbia to network, exchange ideas, and collaborate on initiatives between the Canadian and Asian business sectors. The ACAC was established to foster trade between Canada and Asia. At present, ACAC directors represent China, Brunei, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. END
