THE WESTERN COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN SURREY VISITS THE PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN VANCOUVER

18 FEBRUARY 2022 - Consul General Maria Andrelita S. Austria received representatives from the Western Community College (WCC), led by its President, Mr. Gurpal Dhaliwal, at her office on 10 February.  The WCC is a major partner of the Philippine Consulate in organizing the Nurses Convention in March and the president wanted to personally thank the Consul General for the opportunity given to the College to be involved in such a meaningful undertaking.  Mr. Dhaliwal was accompanied by Ms. Chit Magno and Mr. Stephen Andrada, program managers at WCC and  core members of the FilNet, an informal organization of Filipinos employed in various immigrant-serving agencies in BC.  END
