The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver is pleased to share the announcement of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) on the 5th ANDREA O. VENERACION INTERNATIONAL CHORAL FESTIVAL in Manila on 20-23 July 2023.
The Festival is named after the late founding Choirmaster of the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers and Philippine National Artist for Music Professor Andrea O. Veneracion, an esteemed choirmaster and choral clinician who was instrumental in the promotion of choral music all over the country.
The Festival is open to choirs from around the world who wish to compete in person in the Folk Song, Equal Voices, and Mixed Choir categories. The full details of the competition and information on how to apply can be accessed through: https://aovchoralfestph.com/
