PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN VANCOUVER SUPPORTS TOURISM EVENTS

LEFT PHOTO: Tourism Attache Tropicales networks with attendees to the Asia Now Canada Travel Trade Dinner held at the Shangri-la Vancouver on 16 September, where she made another country presentation before Canadian travel trade partners, together with South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the travel video on top Canadian influencers, Eileen Aldis and Marc Whiteway, who shared their experiences visiting the four Asian countries. Photo above shows the Philippine booth at the Vancouver International Travel Expo held at the Vancouver Convention Centre on 17 September. This travel and wedding expo was participated in by around 100 exhibitors from 40 countries, composed of Consulates (Mexico and Malaysia), tourism boards (Philippines, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan), airlines (PAL, Air Canada, Air North, Eva Air), wedding suppliers, and travel and tour operators. All three events were organized to bring in more tourists amid the recent opening of borders. END
