15 November 2022 – Consul General Maria Andrelita Austria inducted into office the new set of officers of the Philippines Canada Trade Council (PCTC) led by its Chairman, Ms. Anna Lu, on 09 November 2022, during a simple ceremony held at the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver.
PCTC, established in 1983, is a Vancouver-based non-governmental association promoting and assisting fellowship, goodwill, trade and business between Canada and the Philippines.
A meeting was held between the Consulate officers and the PCTC Board of Directors after the induction ceremony. The two sides discussed possible projects on trade and commerce and other undertakings of interest to the members and the community. The new officers conveyed their appreciation to the Philippine Consulate for being supportive of the Council’s activities. END
