February 27, 2020 Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver Hosts a Members’ Reception for the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade (Top left photo) Consul General Maria Andrelita S. Austria (rightmost) welcomes guests during the Philippine Consulate General’s hosting of a Members’ Reception for the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade (GVBOT) held at the Consulate reception area. With “Experience the Philippines” as the theme, the event highlighted Philippine food, talent, products, and destinations to more than 100 guests who came that evening. The Consulate joined the GVBOT in November 2019 with the objective of expanding its presence in the business community of Vancouver. (Bottom left photo) Guests were served lumpiang sariwa, sisig and adobong manok sliders, and pork barbeque, while the Filipino dessert favorites were provided by Goldilocks, Kasama chocolates, Kaye Bakes, The Khaykery and La Glace Ice Cream. Loobi Canada, Inc. donated coconut water drinks, Kape sponsored the coffee, while Filipino-Canadian owner of Wild Goose Vineyards provided the wines. Other exhibitors were Corinthians Distributors, Ltd., one of the three biggest Canadian importers of Philippine products, Philippine Airlines and Fundador. (Right photo) Consul Analyn D.
