24 April 2024 – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver kicked off its 2024 consular outreaches with a visit to the largest city in the Northeast Region of British Columbia, Fort St. John (FSJ), on 20 to 21 April. The two-day outreach was conducted with the assistance of Filipino volunteers who are based in FSJ.
The Vancouver PCG team, composed of Consul Ericka Anna T. Abad, Records & Communications Officer Jay Michael R. Tolentino, Executive Assistant to the Consul General Millecent J. Verceles, Finance Officer Irene Pilar T. Mendoza, Consular Assistant Christina D. Aquino and Passport Releasing Assistant Arnel T. Anacion, rendered a total of 143 services. Additionally, 90 Filipinos and Filipino-Canadians registered for the 2025 national elections in the Philippines.
The Vancouver PCG team was joined by Migrant Office Workers-Vancouver representative, Mr. Neil Justin A. Nicolas, who attended to various queries on OEC issuance and contract verification. END
