Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver Brings Consular Services to Whitehorse, Yukon

WHITEHORSE, YUKON 25 October 2024 – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver conducted its fourth consular outreach mission for the year from 19 to 20 October 2024 in Whitehorse, Yukon. The team provided a total of 185 consular services and administered the oath of dual citizenship to twenty-nine (29) former Filipinos.

MWO-Vancouver and SSS Vancouver joined Vancouver PCG Team in Whitehorse, Yukon to attend to queries from their members, as well as Temporary Foreign Workers, in the area.

Yukon is the smallest and westernmost of Canada's three territories.  The 2021 Census puts the number of Filipinos/Filipino Canadians residing in Yukon at 1,945. END
