31 January 2024, Vancouver – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver hosted a pre-departure briefing for the Winter Escapade 8 Vancouver participants at the Consulate on 31 January 2024.
Consul General Arlene T. Magno welcomed and thanked the attendees for their support for the Winter Escapade program. Consul Analyn Ratonel then presented the detailed itinerary of the tour. Delegates were given a chance to ask questions after the presentation.
The Winter Escapade is a tourism promotion program of all Philippine Foreign Service Posts in Canada designed for Filipinos and mainstream Canadians to travel to the Philippines and discover new attractions and destinations in the country.
This year, there are 31 Vancouver-registered participants, comprising of both Winter Escapade first-timers and repeaters, who will be joining the tour of Manila, Iloilo, Cebu and Bohol from 18 to 27 February 2024. END
