The curated paintings transported guests to the enchanting streets of the Philippines during Christmas. Intricate parols, balikbayan boxes, Filipino Christmas delicacies and joyful gatherings were skillfully depicted by the artists, exploring the cultural richness and warmth that define the Filipino yuletide season.
The diverse audience, comprising members of the Filipino community and Canadians, appreciated the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the unique traditions of the Philippines. Guests were also treated to Filipino cuisine, complete with a rendition of Christmas songs by a Filipino friend of the artists.
