20 July 2022 – Consul General Maria Andrelita S. Austria called on the Hon. Ravi Kahlon, Minister of Jobs, Economic Recovery and Innovation of British Columbia (BC) to discuss bilateral relations and explore how the Philippines could contribute to the fulfillment of the BC Economic Recovery Plan. Among the topics discussed were the province’s economic priorities of clean technology, life sciences, mass timber, and aggrotech, as well as Post’s advocacies on pushing for credentials recognition and the promotion of creative talents.
A former athlete, Minister Kahlon is a Member of the Legislative Assembly of BC for the riding of Delta North, under the BC New Democratic Party. END
