In this informal engagement, the undersigned and Consul General Takahashi touched on various topics such as issues concerning their nationals living in BC and other areas of their respective jurisdictions and PH-JP cooperation in maritime affairs.
The Republic of the Philippines and Japan normalized bilateral relations in 1956 and have cooperated in various areas of mutual interest for close to 70 years. END
