The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver announces the “Proudly Philippines,” a food and travel fair organized every June to commemorate Filipino Heritage Month in Canada and Philippine Independence Day. The event aims to highlight everything Filipino from the products, services and tour packages sold by participating vendors in the market to the cultural program showcasing Filipino talent and culture.
There will be 43 slots available this year and participation will be on a “first come, first served basis.” Filipino-owned food trucks are also welcome. Those interested to join are requested to accomplish the online Proudly Philippines 2024 Application Form between 11 March and 05 April 2024.
Only duly completed application forms will be accepted. Once the total number of participants has been reached, the Consulate will send a message to applicants who did not make it to the cut-off that they will be included in a waitlist.
In case a vendor withdraws his/her participation in the event, he/she must inform the Consulate through an e-mail at economicsection@vancouverpcg.org one month before the event date to allow the Consulate to take in other interested participants. The only exception to the deadline will be for reasons of health, death in the family or other emergencies of similar gravity.
