ANNOUNCEMENT: LAST THREE MONTHS FOR REGISTRATION OF OVERSEAS VOTERS FOR THE 2022 PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS
The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver informs everyone that the registration campaign for Overseas Voters (OV) for the 2022 Philippine national elections is now on its final three months.
All qualified Filipinos in British Columbia, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories who have not yet registered as Overseas Voters, or those registered voters who have changed address, or those who have registered in the past but have not voted during the past two elections (in 2019 and 2016), are enjoined to come to the Philippine Consulate, or to any of its consular outreach missions, and register themselves. No appointment is needed.
In order to shorten the processing time, the Consulate strongly encourages registrants to use the online iRehistro facility which can be accessed through this link, https://irehistro.comelec.gov.ph/irehistro/ovf1. Simply fill out the online OV registration form, print the form with the QR code on legal-sized paper, and bring it to the Consulate or the outreach venue, along with proof of Philippine citizenship, such as Philippine passport or dual citizenship Identification Certificate.
The last day for registering as Overseas Voters is on 30 September 2021.
