The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver has the sad duty to inform the Filipino communities in British Columbia, Yukon and the Northwest Territories of the passing of former President Benigno S. Aquino III, 15th president of the Republic, on 24 June 2021.
A Book of Condolence will be open at the Philippine Consulate for 10 days, beginning today, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for all those who wish to share their thoughts on the former President and his leadership and convey their last respects.
In continued observance of the province’s health protocols, everyone will be required to wear masks, observe physical distancing and accomplish an online health declaration upon entry into the Consulate’s premises. The cooperation of everyone concerned will be appreciated.
For those Filipinos in the Yukon and Northwest Territories, an online condolence book has been made available and can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/eCondolencePNoy.
