Adamson University 5th Global Alumni Reunion

22 July 2024, Surrey, British Columbia – Consul General Arlene T. Magno attended the Adamson University 5^th Global Alumni Reunion held at the Sheraton Guilford Hotel in Surrey on 20 July 2024.  Over 200 Adamsonians from various alumni chapters in Australia, Canada, Italy, Philippines, South Africa, UAE and the United States, attended the event.

Consul General Arlene Magno commended the Adamson Alumni Association British Columbia Chapter for undertaking socially relevant projects such as educational scholarship for deserving students, feeding programs in collaboration with the St. Vincent De Paul Society and medical missions with kababayans in the Philippines, as well as for establishing itself as a platform for cultural exchange, social connection and community service.

Highlights of the program included a progress report by Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, current Adamson University President, wherein he cited that Adamson University has made it to the top five universities in the Philippines, a presentation of International Achievement/Service Awards, an alumnus pinning ceremony, and the alumni candle lighting ceremony.

The program concluded with the flag turnover ceremony for the 6^th Global Alumni Reunion to be held in Bangkok Thailand in 2026. END
