2023 International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Month

The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver joins the nation in commemorating the International Humanitarian Law Month this August and the observance of the International Humanitarian Law Day on 12 August 2023.

This year's celebration is themed "IHL: Gabay sa Makataong Pagsulong ng Kapayapaan" or IHL: Guide to Humanitarian Advancement of Peace, which emphasizes the ongoing and vital role of IHL in fostering peace and safeguarding the rights and dignity of individuals affected by armed conflict.
