18-DAY CAMPAIGN TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN (VAW), 25 NOVEMBER TO 12 DECEMBER 2023

The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver joins the observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), 25 November to 12 December 2023, an advocacy campaign that is observed annually, as mandated by Proclamation No. 1172 s. 2006.

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), in consonance with the UN Women’s initiative “UNITE by 2030 to End Violence Against Women”, highlights the recurring campaign theme, “UNiTEd for a VAW-Free Philippines” to continuously advocate for the prevention and elimination of VAW in the country.
